The library includes classic and contemporary experimental paradigms that are based on the well prooven scripting language of the classic research version of ERTS.

Download and use new experimental paradigms as soon as they become available. This link also provides an excellent overview about what is included in the default library. We appreciate any suggestions about what paradigms you would like to have included in the library.
| Classroom Profiles | Classroom profiles may be defined to customize the ERTSLab interface for displaying only those components relevant to a certain student class. | ||
| Run Time Kernel | ERTSLab experiment control relies on the accurate and well-proven DOS run-time kernel of the ERTS software package. | ||
| Open Library | The experiment library includes classic as well as contemporary paradigms. It is based on a regular folder and file structure and thus may be easily extended by user-defined ERTS experiments or by downloading ERTSLab scripts from Internet. | ||
| Client-Server configuration |
ERTSLab is designed for a local and network installation. Once installed on a server, you may use it from all Win95/98/NT clients. Library and data collection paths can be configured in the classroom profiles to point to a common directory on the server. | ||
| Documentation | Instruction, experimental design, theoretical background and references are offered as separate info topics which can be selectively turned off to let students play "naive" subjects. All documentation comes as English written RTF-files that might be edited or translated with any word processing system. | ||
| Result Output | ERTSLab generates ASCII-based result files for raw-data, case-reports, group reports and merged export files. Depending on your teaching scenario you may disable some or all of these report features within the classroom profiles to force students to average data by their own. | ||
| License conditions | The license is
restricted to teaching purposes only. It must not be used
in any other context like non-profit research, clinical
trials, or commercial studies. The license period is
annual and must be renewed every year. ERTSLab may be installed on all local machines or local networks that are permanently owned by the licensing department. ERTSLab runs under Win95/98 and WinNT. |
