ERTS is based on an easy-to-use script language and covers a broad range of cognitive paradigms that rely on collecting subject's reactions to visual and/or auditory stimuli.
Running under MS-DOS ERTS achieves millisecond accuracy for stimulus presentation, response registration, and event timing. ERTS provides an Intelligent Preload Technique (IPL) that uses an automatic video page flipping algorithm like high performance games to present any new graphics image within one screen refresh.
